The
various possibilities include hair on hide cowhides
in different colors, metallic look leathers, dyed
hair on hide leather or animal looks such as zebra
or leopard prints. |

Hair
on hide or plain borders are usually 4" or
6" wide. |

|
Rugs
with back pad are also available. |

|
Most common sizes are approximately 5' x 7', 6' x 9', 8' x 10', 9' x 12' and 10' x 14' |

Combination of large rectangular patches of waxed cow leather. |
|
|
Large patches are approximately 20” x 25” and the borders are almost 6” wide. |
|
|
Patches are glued to back pad and then stitched to it. |
|
|
Colors: two different tones of brown as well as black are available. |
|
|
Waxed leather retains all transit marks; these can be rubbed away when cleaned with clear silicon shoe polish, or clear furniture wax. |

Occasional
light vacuum cleaning of dust. |
|
|
In
case of spills, absorb excess liquid and clean with
soft wet cloth and neutral soap or shampoo. Do not
rub. |

Do
not dry in direct sunlight. |
|
|
Avoid
exposure to direct sunlight for lengthy periods
(as with any leather article) |
|
|
Avoid
sources of heat and very intense illumination. |
|
|
Do
not steam clean. |
|
|
When
rolled, leather side should remain on the outside.
Avoid keeping rolled for lengthy periods. Never
leave rolls standing (lay rolls flat) |

Maintenance for the Campo - Waxed Leather Rugs |

Waxed cow leather lacks waterproofing and other protective treatments, therefore it is important to avoid spilling and stains. Should a spill occur, proceed to absorb liquid immediately with a clean and dry cloth or an absorbent sponge. Do not rub. Do not dry in direct sunlight. |
|
|
Applying clear furniture wax to the waxed surface is highly recommended to help prevent stains. |
